Editorial about COVID-19 diagnostics published on VNU COVID-19 Newsletter

In September 2021, Nghi’s article named “Các phương pháp xét nghiệm chẩn đoán SARS-CoV-2 hiện nay: giá trị, thách thức và khuyến cáo” (Diagnostic tests for SARS-CoV-2: their current values, challenges and recommendations) was peer-reviewed and accepted for online publication on COVID-19 newsletter of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

The article, summarised from Nghi’s dissertation during her MPhil course at Cambridge University, briefly reviewed current diagnostic approaches (molecular, serological and point-of-care tests) for SARS-CoV-2 with a focus on the situation in Vietnam and also provided a discussion on their challenges and recommendations depending on different scenarios.
